Alexa & Dan -Saffron Walden Registry Office & The Eight Bells
Alexa & Dan chose to get married in Saffron Walden, which is both mine and their home town! Their ceremony was held at the Saffron Walden registry office and then we moved on to The Eight Bells, Saffron Walden for the reception and party! As a wedding photographer based in Saffron Walden, it was so lovely to be photographing in locations I knew so well and making the most of our gorgeous town. For their couple portraits, we visited Bridge End Gardens which are situated in the centre of Saffron Walden and full of quaint arches, a beautiful pavillion and lovely landscaped grounds.
On the morning of Alexa and Dan’s wedding, I met with Alexa and her beautiful bridesmaids (daughter & step daughter). The morning was lovely and relaxing whilst Alexa had her hair and make up done. The room was full of excitement from the two little bridesmaids as they were super excited!
The Eight Bells provided the perfect reception venue for Alexa & Dan’s intimate wedding. The 16th century timber framed pub has a gorgeous interior with a modern twice and I must say, they provided the best wedding food I have ever tasted! The staff are super friendly and because it is primarily a pub, not a wedding venue they put such a personal effort into making sure the day went smoothly.
I LOVED Alexa & Dan’s wedding! I can’t wait to photograph many more weddings in my home town of Saffron Walden in the near future!!
